Again everything in this post was much cheaper last year. I had to shop around to find sort of decent prices I think I went to 10 different stores before I found prices I was willing to pay.

 

I bought 2 of this one ( the only 2 they had left)

This one is similar but bigger I got one of this model

Flooring

I was not sure what I was doing for the floors. For the bedrooms we want laminated or hardwood. But for the social areas we were undecided between marble or tiles.We went around to look and our options and found one place that had marble at the "old price" which was basically the same price of tile. We went ahead and purchased a bunch of it without measurements or anything to guarantee we got the low price. If we  need more the salesman told us he would give us the old price as well.

Tiny toilet

Since we are starting from scratch we decided to do the kids bathroom with child size pieces. I bought a little toilet that looks a lot like this one last week.

Too bad I didn't buy it in December when the price was 1.300 Bs.

Appliances

The political situation in the country made it that the US $ was going up FAST so everything was going up in price every day. We were in a rush to buy the appliances before they went up in price. For example the fridge we wanted went up from 26.000 to 43.000 in a week. We ended up getting a different model.
